Ingredients required for Broccoli Stir Fry
Broccoli is the key ingredient of the recipe. Cut the florets into medium size.
Garlic pods are chopped and added to the dish. I always prefer to add fresh garlic. However, if you don't have fresh garlic, you can alternatively add garlic flakes.
Sesame Oil is must for Chinese-inspired stir fry. It gives flavor to the dish. If you do not have sesame oil or do not prefer sesame oil, then go ahead with any vegetable oil of your choice.
Soy Sauce gives a tangy flavor to the stir fry. Oyster sauce can also be used in place of it, but if you're a vegan, stay away from adding it.
Balsamic Vinegar gives a good kick to the dish.
Chilli flakes adds a spicy flavor to the dish. You can adjust the quantity based on your personal taste preferences.
Salt & Sugar for seasoning
How to make Garlic Broccoli Stir Fry
This is the most easiest recipe and anyone can prepare this one. Here is the step-by-step instructions to make this vegan stir fry.
Bring the water to a boil in a large pot. Cook the broccoli florets for one minute. Avoid overcooking broccoli since it will become mushy and lose its crisp. After draining the water, let the broccoli florets cool.
In the meantime, add chopped garlic to hot oil in a skillet and stir constantly. After that, stir in the broccoli florets that have been blanched. Add salt and chilli flakes. Toss the broccoli thoroughly over high heat.
In a bowl, combine a pinch of sugar, soy sauce, and balsamic vinegar. Now add it to the broccoli and keep stirring until all the liquids are evaporated. Finally, switch off the gas and garlic broccoli stir fry is ready to serve.
How to serve THIS Stir Fry
Serve this delectable and quick side dish with noodles, fried rice, or plain rice. This recipe is also suitable as a light meal or a nutritious snack.
Can you freeze THIS dish?
Yes, you can freeze this stir fry. I advise eating it fresh, but if required you must, store it in the refrigerator for a couple of days in an airtight container. Before eating, reheat in a microwave or on the stove.
