Ingredients

Watermelon: This is the primary ingredient of this recipe. Always buy a good watermelon for this recipe. Check this link to know how to select a good watermelon.

Ginger: Another key ingredient is ginger. Take juicy fresh ginger root for the better result.

Lemon Juice: Another ingredient for this recipe is lemon.

Others: Ice cubes, Sugar, Mint leaves etc.

Instructions

Learn watermelon ginger juice recipe by following the below instructions.

To begin, cut the watermelon into rings and remove off the peel. Next, chop into pieces. You may also cut the fruit the way you like.

Remember to take the seeds out of the fruit!

After giving the ginger root a thorough wash to get rid of any dirt, peel the skin. Cut the ginger into pieces.

Just before making the juice, cut the lemon and squeeze out the juice. Set aside.

In a blender, take watermelon chunks and chopped ginger. Blend until smooth.

If the watermelon is not naturally sweet, you can add sugar to it and blend.

Now pass the juice through a sieve. Add the lemon juice and blend thoroughly.

I have served this watermelon ginger juice in small glasses, hence the from the given quantity will be sufficient for two small glasses of juice. If you want to make in big batch, please increase the quantity of ingredients accordingly.

Take small glasses, add a few ice cubes, and pour in the juice. Garnish them either with lemon slices or mint leaves and serve cold.

If you want to avoid ice cubes, then you can keep the ingredients in refrigerator before making the juice.

Serving Suggestions

Watermelon ginger juice is a very good detox drink hence you can have it after your morning workout or evening walk.

Variations

Watermelon juice is naturally refreshing, and we've enhanced it by adding ginger and a dash of lemon. Increase the amount of lemon juice to make watermelon ginger lemon juice.

You can also try making watermelon cucumber mint juice. The other variations of watermelon juice include watermelon mint cooler, watermelon basil juice, etc.

Add berries, kiwi or any other fruit to the watermelon juice for more variations.

Soak chia or basil seeds and add to this drink.

Materials

  • 2 cups Watermelon Chunks
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon Juice
  • Sugar Optional
  • 4-6 nos Ice cubes

Instructions

  • Add watermelon chunks and chopped ginger in a blender and blend until smooth.
  • Now, filter the juice through a strainer.
  • Add lemon juice and mix well.
  • Take small glasses and add ice cubes in them, pour the juice in the glasses.
  • Garnish and serve the chilled juice.
