How to make Green Peas Paratha | Peas Stuffed Paratha

For Dough
- 2 cups Wheat Flour
- 2 teaspoon Vegetable Oil
- Salt to taste
- Water as required
For Stuffing
- 1.5 cups Green Peas
- ½ teaspoon Ginger, finely chopped
- ½ teaspoon Green Chilli, finely chopped
- ½ teaspoon Chaat Masala Powder
- 1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
- ½ teaspoon Red Chilli Powder
- Salt to taste
- ¼ cup Ghee (Clarified Butter)/ Vegetable Oil for Frying (Use as required)
Preparation of Stuffing
Now boil the green peas. After they cool, use a grinder to make them into a rough paste.
Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. When they starts crackling add chopped ginger and green chilli.
Next add coarse pea paste and followed by add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, chat masala, salt. Mix them well.
Once done, switch off the flame and allow it to cool.
Making of Peas Paratha
Make equal size balls from the dough and stuff them with the green peas filling prepared earlier. Seal them properly.
Later roll the balls using rolling pin and prepare round shaped parathas.
Heat skillet and fry the parathas using ghee or vegetable oil. Serve hot with pickle or any other side dish.
